Firstly thank you for taking an interest in our community based football club based in Chapeltown, Sheffield and also the time to read and consider this letter.

About Us…….

The Club was founded in 1984 on the motto Football is Fun Enjoy it, and to this day that that philosophy still applies. We obtained The Football Association Charter Standard in 2003.

We currently have 5 teams.  The Club plays in the hugely popular Sheffield and District Junior Football leagues.  However, unlike many clubs, our primary concern is to ensure the children who play for us develop football skills, teamwork and most of all have fun whilst competing.  This sets us apart as we do not hold trials, and will accept any child no matter what their ability if they wish to play football. The club only refuse anybody when our teams are full and will then keep lists and contact them if and when a place is available.   We also guarantee any player with us will play at least 10 half games a season and will never be left sat on the subs bench for the whole of a match, players only develop by playing. 

In the past we have had success stories with Andy Warrington – Goalkeeper for Rotherham and Steve Haslam former Sheffield Wednesday. (Both are ex players).

 We run our club professionally but all involved are committed volunteers and our coaches are all FA qualified.

Can you help us?........

As you can imagine it costs money to run this type of community based club which helps to keep up to 220 kids engaged in positive activities.  We don’t receive grants or income and all our costs are covered by fundraising, player subscriptions, sponsorship and donations.

One of our regular costs is new kits and training equipment/team wear, we have a number of kind-hearted companies who support and sponsor individual teams for these items.  Detailed below are our sponsorship costs for kits and training wear, primarily the teams kit is our initial concern to obtain a linked sponsor.   If this is not feasible at the moment from yourselves there are other ways you can donate to help the club to continue to thrive as it has done for the last 25 years with help from companies/individuals such as yourself.  This can be through donating raffle prizes, training equipment, sponsoring a match ball, indeed anything is gratefully received.
